So much to tell you.....
Our first Craft fayre, went very well, lots of hard work, but the venue looked great and we had lots of VERY positive feedback from stall holders and visitors. Jenni took the lead on this, as she has always wanted to host a fayre. We wanted it to be a fayre that we would like to attend, activities, competitions etc, varied and all handmade work, and it was!!
So that's done and you never know we may well host another one.......
We did our fist Artist talk for the lovely ladies of Church Stretton WI- Marmaladies, followed by a Craft taster session. The talk was on the Arts and Craft movement and doing the research for that was most interesting.
Dulcie is still working hard, painting and studying for her University course.
Jenni is about to open her first ever Art and Craft shop in Coalport, the John Rose Studios, Ironbridge, it's called Inky Fox How exciting!!
Jamila is focusing on her Arts for Health projects, Elixir Arts and has had a few exhibitions (Photography as well as illustration) in the big smoke London of late, as well as workshops, commissions and lots of admin.
All in all a busy, creative and fun times for Hey Doll! (as ever prepping and planning Craft parties and events).
Thanks for reading, :)
