Some Stock from Inky Fox Shop.
As usual all dolls are juggling creative tasks, with life and ALL the admin needed. Dulcie, had an inspiring time in London as part of her degree course, a whole week submerged in Art history - bliss. Jenni has been living and breathing Inky Fox.(Jamila and Dulcie, and of course Jenni have their creations on sale there). Jamila's work from the Charity Coffee culture exhibition in London is now over. She is working on an Arts for Health drawing project, upcycling stuff to save cash, the environment and the opportunity to say, "I made it" when people ask where she bought her brooch, necklace etc. Jamila has also been doing lots of drawing, and helping Jenni with Inky Fox marketing, helping or hindering, I'm not sure, he he he :) Our Jenni has opened her first shop!! Inky Fox is in the John Rose studios, United Art Spaces, Coalport, Ironbridge. TF8 7HT. Come visit her. There are lots of lovely handmade treasures to buy.
She has been open since 22nd May 2013. Jamila has taken some stock and shop photographs for Jenni, but has forgotten the lead, so the images will be edited and uploaded later :) The Jenni has a Facebook and Twitter page too, 'Like', 'Follow' Support. Jenni will be running Art/Craft workshops from studio. Launch party 22nd June 2013!! Howdy Craft bunnies,
So much to tell you..... Our first Craft fayre, went very well, lots of hard work, but the venue looked great and we had lots of VERY positive feedback from stall holders and visitors. Jenni took the lead on this, as she has always wanted to host a fayre. We wanted it to be a fayre that we would like to attend, activities, competitions etc, varied and all handmade work, and it was!! So that's done and you never know we may well host another one....... We did our fist Artist talk for the lovely ladies of Church Stretton WI- Marmaladies, followed by a Craft taster session. The talk was on the Arts and Craft movement and doing the research for that was most interesting. Dulcie is still working hard, painting and studying for her University course. Jenni is about to open her first ever Art and Craft shop in Coalport, the John Rose Studios, Ironbridge, it's called Inky Fox How exciting!! Jamila is focusing on her Arts for Health projects, Elixir Arts and has had a few exhibitions (Photography as well as illustration) in the big smoke London of late, as well as workshops, commissions and lots of admin. All in all a busy, creative and fun times for Hey Doll! (as ever prepping and planning Craft parties and events). Thanks for reading, :) Hello,
